Gladhill Furniture to occupy Frederick Trading Center
Laytonsville, MD - Ruppert Properties announces that Gladhill Furniture has signed a lease for 45,000 SF in the Frederick Trading Center.
With locations in Middletown and Rockville and a sister store, Basset Furniture Direct, in Frederick, Gladhill Furniture will use the Trading Center location for temporary furniture storage. The company has been in business since 1915 and is well known in the region for its fine furniture and excellent customer service.
According to Jim Nicholson, owner of Gladhill Furniture, the Frederick Trading Center not only provided flexible space, but also an ideal location with easy access to major roadways including Route 15 and I-270.
"The Frederick Trading Center has transformed from a single-use entity to a multi-tenant business center in a relatively short time," notes Bill Meissner, vice president for Ruppert Properties. "Gladhill Furniture joins a community of diverse business specialties that is successfully housed under one roof." Meissner also noted that Ruppert Properties has been very pleased with the efforts of Tyler-Donegan, the leasing agent, which has been able to share the vision of the Frederick Trading metamorphosis.
Frederick Trading Center is located at the corner of Route 26 and Monocacy Boulevard, just inside Frederick city limits. There are further plans to develop multiple retail pad sites fronting Route 26. Other Frederick Trading tenants include the Monocacy Valley Montessori School, Eldersburg Building Supply, Wonder Book & Video and GEICO.
Ruppert Properties, a division of Ruppert Companies, is active in identifying, developing and managing real estate properties in the Washington/Baltimore office and business market.
