RUPPERT PROPERTIES ANNOUNCES SIGNIFICANT LEASING ACTIVITY
Laytonsville, MD – Bill Meissner, Vice President of Ruppert Properties, announces brisk leasing activity at several of the company’s Frederick, Md. properties. “Following an extensive upgrade of 200 Monroe Avenue, including landscaping, facade improvements and interior updates, we’ve leased 53,000 of the 192,000 square feet to GEICO for document storage and have several other leases pending.” 200 Monroe Avenue, formerly the Van Hoffman Printing Co., was purchased by Ruppert Properties in January of this year. GEICO also leases 63,000 square feet in the Ruppert-owned Frederick Trading Center, 7901 Monocacy Blvd., for the storage of permanent records and archives.
Meissner continues, “We’re also happy to welcome Flying Dog Brewing LLC, which has just purchased Frederick Brewing Co., as a tenant. They have renewed the 55,000 square feet used by the brewery located at 4607 Wedgewood Boulevard with a 10-year lease. We’re thrilled that this space will continue its current use and bring further recognition to this unique business venture of the Frederick community.”
In other activity, TNT Services Group, a residential building supply company, and Miller HVAC Solutions, a manufacturer of specialized commercial ceiling- and floor-mounted air conditioners, have each completed their move into Stanford Trading Center II North, located in the Stanford Business Park just off of Route 15 and Mountville Road.
Ruppert Properties is a full-service real estate company that owns, develops and manages commercial real estate throughout the Washington/Baltimore metropolitan area. The leasing agent for Monroe Avenue and Stanford Trading Center II is Joe Donegan of Tyler-Donegan Real Estate.
