MEISSNER NAMED PRESIDENT
Frederick, MD – William (Bill) Meissner has been named president of Ruppert Properties by owner Craig Ruppert. Meissner also serves as vice president/partner in Ruppert Companies, parent firm of Ruppert Properties.
“Bill has earned this, he deserves it and I’ve got tremendous confidence in his abilities,” states Ruppert. “Over the past eight years, he has built Ruppert Properties from a firm that initially managed the properties owned by our sister company, Ruppert Nurseries, into a legitimate concern in warehouse/flex development, particularly in Frederick County where the bulk of our new construction is taking place.”
Meissner oversees the day-to-day activities of the company and is directly responsible for identifying, analyzing and developing the company’s investments and real estate opportunities, as well as for the development and administration of the firm’s long-term strategic plan. He has been recognized for creating the award-wining “Trading Center” brand warehouse/flex product which offers smaller warehouse users (5,000-80,000 SF) class ‘A’ tilt-up concrete warehouse space typically only available to larger users. Amenities include higher clear heights and combination drive-in and dock doors packaged in an architecturally-enhanced building including extensive landscape and hardscape features.
“I look forward to watching Bill continue to succeed,” says Ruppert. “His energy and creativity are balanced by his logical thinking and ability to quickly grasp both the big picture and new concepts. These skills have proved invaluable as we sought a foothold in the industry and will hold us in good stead over the long haul.”
Ruppert Properties specializes in warehouse/office space for small-to-mid-size users throughout the Washington/Baltimore metropolitan area. Current projects include Stanford Trading Center IV-VIII in Frederick, Maryland and the LEED-registered Ruppert Nurseries green headquarters soon to be completed on Route 108 in Montgomery County.
