The foundation for Ruppert Properties was laid in the mid-1970s as the different entities of the Ruppert Companies (including the former Ruppert Landscape Company, which was sold during the peak of the landscape industry consolidation in 1998) purchased and developed their own headquarters and branch facilities. Over the years, company personnel were educated on site selection, construction, property management, zoning and related details while dealing with our toughest customer — ourselves. In 1999, following several successful mid-Atlantic developments, Ruppert Properties was formalized to expand its services to investing in, developing and re-developing commercial flex/warehouse properties.

An offshoot of the original landscape company, Ruppert Nurseries came into being in 1990 and is now one of the premier large-caliper wholesale tree nurseries on the East Coast. Named to the 2005 Inc. Magazine 500 list of “America’s Fastest Growing Private Companies,” Ruppert Nurseries re-entered the commercial landscape installation and management markets in 2003 and is a sought-after provider of high-quality, professional landscape services.
Ruppert Ventures
Ruppert Ventures was formed in 1999 with the goal of utilizing the management experience and resources of the Ruppert partners to assist in the business development of small to mid-size companies. Today the focus is primarily passive real estate investment.
